Unique Computer Institute (UCI), an Autonomous Society under the administrative control of Ministry, Government of India, was set up to carry out Human Resource Development and related activities in the area of Information, Electronics & Communications Technology. Unique Computer Institute (UCI) is engaged both in Formal & Non-Formal Education in the area of IECT besides development of industry-oriented quality education and training programmers in the state-of-the-art areas. Unique Computer Institute (UCI) IT has endeavored to establish standards to be the country’s premier institution
for Examination and Certification in the field of IECT.
It is also one of the National Examination Body, which accredits institutes/organizations for conducting courses in IT in the non-formal sector.
Over the last two decades, Unique Computer Institute (UCI) has acquired very good expertise in IT training, through its wide repertoire of causes, ranging from Short-Term (Foundation), Diploma, Advance Diploma, PG-Diploma, IT Certificate courses such as CCA (Certificate on Computer Application), C-PAC (Certificate Professional Accountant Computer Course) and other such long term and short term course in the non-formal sector like courses on Information Security, Computer Hardware Maintenance, Bio-Informatics, etc, besides, high end courses offered by Unique Computer Institute (UCI) at Post-Graduate level in Electronics Design & Technology etc. which are not normally offered by Universities/Institutions in the formal sector, in association with the respective state Universities.

undertake R&D projects, consultancy services, turnkey projects in office
automation, software development, website development etc.
Unique Computer Institute (UCI) is also successfully executing the Agriculture Census and Input Survey project under which tabulation of about 10 crore data records have to be done. Unique Computer Institute (UCI) has planned a roadmap for adopting appropriate pedagogy for metamorphosing Unique Computer Institute (UCI) into an Institute of National Importance.
Objectives
1. To generate quality manpower and develop skilled professionals in the area of Information, Electronics and Communications Technology and allied, by providing world class education & training and accreditation services.
2. To provide continuing support to learners and trainers through active design & development of innovative curricula and acquisition of content.
3. To establish a quality system of examination and certification that is globally recognised providing a fair assessment of the competency of students.
4. To continue to implement the Unique Computer Institute (UCI) Scheme for computer courses, jointly developed by AICTE in the non-formal sector of IT Education Training.
5. To establish standards in the areas of IT and to develop markets in the emerging areas.
6. To impart continuing Education for up-gradation of knowledge and skills in view of high obsolescence in the area of IT.
7. To provide entrepreneurship development programme in the area of IT.
